Time Layers
2.6 Million Years in Dialogue
Where the Past Meets the Present
Presented as part of “Lucid Dreams / Stoneage”, this piece was born from a fascination with the relationship between past and present.
What begins as unfamiliar slowly transforms, layer by layer, into “Time Layers” – a mirror of ourselves: ancient tools and modern objects placed side by side, revealing striking parallels in function, meaning, and design. In this way, a dialogue emerges, extending an invitation to reconsider our relationship with objects by juxtaposing tools and utensils from times long past.
Through this work, I invite viewers to pause, look closer, and reflect on their connection with the everyday.
